Well I’m sick. I had a shitty sleep last night. I knew something was coming on. My muscles were starting to ache and my nose was running like you wouldn’t believe. When I got out of bed this morning, I had no energy. I went to the chiropractor and then the gym. I sat in the parking lot and debated about going in or going home. I chose to go in. Not only was I feeling under the weather, but I have also been unbearably depressed. But that’s another story.
I managed to get a workout in. I rode the bike for 30 minutes and then did a 30 minute circuit. It consisted of 2 sets of the following 3 rounds.
Skip for 3 minutes
25 push ups
25 squats
25 sit outs
10 hand walk to plank and return
Skip for 3 minute
25 walking dumbbell lunge
25 bent over dumbbell row
25 side lunge
25 mountain climbers
Skip for 3 minutes
50 weighted jab cross
25 bossu ball left knees
50 alternating uppercuts
25 bossu ball right knees
I was completely spent after this. I think it’s from my cold because that shouldn’t have killed me the way it did. I went to the mats to do some abs but after 1 leg lift, I quit. Lol. I was going to go to BJJ tonight to do some rolling, but that would be disrespectful to my team. No point in them getting sick as well. So here I sit. Hopefully I get over this soon so I can get back on the mats. I have a feeling I’m getting another stripe on my belt.
