10:00hrs Goodlife fitness center for strength (Wolverine) workout. All chest, back and shoulders. I left the facility with that pumped feeling. You know when your hands won’t quite open all the way because your forearms are so jacked? That was my whole body.
17:00hrs Grizzly Gym for my beloved Muay Thai. It had been at least 6 months since I last put the gloves on and probably about 3 months before that. It was a hard workout as there are several members with potential upcoming fights. My knees were throbbing within 15 minutes of the class.
19:00hrs Grizzly Gym for BJJ. We worked on several lock flows and the basics. As I write this, 3 of out white belts are competing in their first big tournament; Grappling Industries in Montreal today. For rolling I went with each of them. I told them I wanted them to relax and really focus on their technique. If I saw and obvious submission or pass or sweep, of course I would take it. Other than that I went 50-60%. Oh ya, they could only do a submission once. I made them look for stuff that they normally don’t.

Still feel it. Lol. Happy Easter weekend. I’m working the whole time. Ughhh. I’ll be back on the mats Tuesday. 🙂
